Introduction
Sikhism is not a very old religion, it started less than seven hundred years ago so it's also not that young of a religion. It has a few similarities to Buddism and Hinduhism, but it's still very different from these tother two religion. The religion doens't have as many followers as Hinduism or Buddism, but it's still got a decent number of followers, it is estimated that the relligion has between twenty and twenty five million followers. Despite it being such a young religion it is actually the fifth most popular religion in the world today. When it was first created, Guru Nanak it's founder had one simple message, We are all one, created by the one creator of all creation. Someone who practices Sikhism is known as a Sikh (disciple) and the religion is open to anyone who wishes to be join it.
The picture at the bottom is of Sikhism's ten gurus, and they are basically the ones who made the religion what is is today. Their teaching are what Sikhs live by today, as well as the teachings of living guru Granth Sahib. Granth Sahib is not actually a person, Granth Sahib is Sikhism's religious text. After the Tenth Guru it was decided that no other person should become a guru.
