Sikhs are completely alright with the donation and transplantation of organs. Sikh philosophy and teachings have great emphasis on the importance of giving and putting others before themselves. Sikh teachings also press the importance of noble deeds, selfless giving and sacrifice. An example would be determined by the behaviour of the ten Gurus in the Sikh teachings. Saving a human’s life is one of the greatest things that one can do according to the Sikh religion. This is the reason why donating organs after death is acceptable to Sikhs. Sikhs believe in life after death, and a continuous cycle of rebirth. But the physical body is not needed in this cycle. The soul of a person is eternal, (same as say Christianity’s belief) but the body is simply just flesh and spoilable. If another person can make due of organs from a Sikh's body, this is a great and noble thing.
Much of Sikh moral teaching is devoted to caring for neighbours (others) who are less fortunate. This suggests that the Sikh reaction to situations where people think about euthanasia would be to provide such good care that euthanasia became an option that was frowned upon.

Abortion is forbidden in Sikhism, it interferes in the creative work of God according to sikhists - who created everything and is present in every being. If conception has taken place, it would be a sin to destroy life and hence deliberate miscarriage or abortion is frowned upon and forbidden. Among the Sikh community in India, and there is concern that the practice of abortion of female embryos because of a cultural preference for sons is growing.
Sikhs believe that birth control is alright. Whether or not Sikhs use contraceptives, and the form of contraception used, is up for the couple to decide.
War must be the last resort, all other ways of resolving the conflict must be tried first. The army must be disciplined and well trained. Civilians must not be harmed in war. There must be no looting, territory must not be annexed, and property taken must be returned to the owner of the property.
